The All Stars are one of the top South West Wedding, Function and Festival traditional swing jazz bands. As befits the busy schedule of a successful working jazz and blues band, the gig list includes all kinds of bookings, from wedding receptions to garden parties, from dinner dances to corporate promotions, and summer balls to riverboat jazz cruises. 

Steve launched the jazz band in North Devon (UK) thirteen years ago, basing the sound on the ever popular classic songs and show tunes of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Since then the Steve Tucker All Stars have been hugely popular around Devon and the South West. They have benefited from good CD airplay from the BBC in particular, whilst newspapers and magazines have generously acknowledged the band's energy, enthusiasm and exciting performances.

The Steve Tucker All Star Jazz Band have many years experience playing at weddings, parties and functions in the South West. They play a cool mix of jazz dance classic songs and will keep you and your guests and family happy, entertained and on the dance floor. 

The Steve Tucker All Stars play a three hour set with breaks, keeping the atmosphere going with CD recorded music in the breaks. This could give you the opportunity to provide a selection of your favourite pre recorded songs on CD so we could play them on our professional sound system. The band can play three sets of 50 minutes, flexible to requirements. For a small extra charge we can run an hour disco for you to follow the band's performance. A question often asked is how much space the band will need. Although flexible again, a minimum of 20 by 15 feet is desirable. An independent, secure power supply will be needed close by at the venue. If the band are required to play outside a cover must be provided, i.e. marquee/tent or gazebo type, again with a safe power supply nearby. 

It is a legal requirement that any band playing at a public performance holds a current public liability certificate of insurance. We feel our insurance, through the Musicians Union, is the best for your safety and peace of mind. The certificate is available to view, on request, when booking the band.
