Our aim is to make it easier and more affordable for anyone and everyone to eat great tasting food at home or on holiday.
 

We believe that a good cook has the power to make people truly happy with their food, and that’s what our chefs are here to do – to spread a little bit of food happiness by making each and every one of your meals an experience to remember.

 

Amandine was founded by food fanatic Kate Emery. Previously, Kate was a board director of one of London’s leading advertising agencies, and the founder and Managing Director of a successful start up. These 2 roles led her to be named as one of the Young Business Leaders of the Year by Who’s Who in 2010.
 

Having spent 15 years building her career in London Kate decided it was time to follow her heart and move to the South of France to start her own business.  The decision was partly personal – her partner Julien is from Nice – and professional, as her overriding passion has always been for food and wine, so much so that she is well on her way to becoming a Master of Wine
 

Her love of good food combined with her business flair has resulted in Amandine – born from a genuine desire to make the concept of chefs cooking for you at home or on holiday more affordable and accessible than ever before.

 

If you would like to find a chef to cater a special occasion, whether it’s an intimate dinner for 2, a business lunch for 12, or a birthday party for 20 – we can find a chef to come and take care of everything.
 

Many of our chefs are used to catering for large numbers and have experience of working for corporate as well as private functions. So if you’re looking for someone reliable, professional and personable to cater your event then look no further.
 

We can also help to find waiting staff or bar staff for smaller functions.
 

We should mention however that we are not event caterers or party organisers.  If this is what you’re looking for then we would be happy to recommend people that we know are very good. We can also put you in touch with companies that hire out equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware.
