About
Hailing from Finland, Tiina started to do circus as a hobby when she was 14.She soon realised circus was her great passion and as 19 she went to study circus arts full time in Lahti College of Arts and Crafts for two and half years, gaining a general grounding in circus arts but specialising in hula-hoops.
She felt she wanted to learn more and got a place at The Circus Space in London where she specialised in handbalancing.
She graduated from there in July 2008 with BA(Hons)Degree in Circus Arts. Tiina has solo acts with hula-hoops and handbalancing, but is also a member of Hoop LaLa hula-hoop performing trio with Jessie Rose and Craig Reid.

For me the stand out was Tiina Tuomisto. Whether in one-legged backbend while spinning a hoop around her ankle, or balancing and contorting on a pair of handstand sticks, this young woman never loses her poise nor a sweet, secretive smile of pleasure
